Re: OT: NBA Thread.
Having a winning record and not winning a title isn't much better than having a .500 record and not winning a title. Fact is... the Heat have 2 superstars and a 3rd wheel, but they have nobody who's willing to go up for rebounds consistently (especially now that Haslem is out for the haul), they have no defense inside the perimeter, they're playing Bosh out of place, trying to run offenses that don't compliment LeWade's style (yeah it's a combination of the two ****s) and just aren't that great of a team mold. They may be a decent team in the regular season, but when they have to face GOOD teams (maybe I should have put TEAM in all caps) for a 7 game series... they're gonna be in trouble. Their weaknesses are easily exploited by good teams. It's no coincidence that they're beating sub .500 teams on the regular and losing to above .500 teams on the regular. They might "figure it out," but they certainly won't waltz their way through multiple championships. They'll be lucky to win one at this rate. This team won't be able to stay in tact for the duration of the threesome's contracts. Especially when people get fed up with all the hype for mediocre results. Look at the Cavs... best regular season record in the league for multiple years doesn't mean SHIT if you don't win a title.
