Webb is fully deployed!

At this point, pretty much all that's left is travelling the rest of the way to its orbit, a burn of Webb's rocket to insert it into a stable L2 orbit, and then several months of testing & calibrating the mirrors.

If all goes well, I think the fist images are supposed to be coming back in about six months.

Yeah, me too. The night before it launched, I had a vivid dream that the rocket blew up shortly after launch.

Was pretty pissed off until I woke up, then pretty worried watching the launch live.

Since the launch, I've been pretty confident they were going to pull this off, but I've still been following each step really closely.
 
I guess I'll fire this off here. Was a huge breakthrough in the medical world yesterday regarding MS

This becomes all the more important moving forward. Could slice the fuck out of MS prevalence if successful.
