Saw my first "turned" leaf on the kitchen tree a minute ago. Fall finally coming!
Climate change has had quite a bit of influence in the high desert, with much higher temps in the summer than had been experienced ~15 or so years ago I'm told, disappointing considering we're up 4500 feet elevation. Gonna try to be somewhere else next August.

Plus easy procurement of vittles and, importantly, on the Mendo Coast where it still doesn't get much above 68°F, thereabouts, even in goddam August.
