OT: The News Thread

I'm still surprised that it was suggested that he should go on Joe Rogan's show to debate him about.... Science. A musician and a gameshow host/MMA fan debating science? What? The problem stems from a gameshow host having strong outlier opinions about science and communicating them as a matter of fact to millions of his disciples. I don't think a musician debating him would help anything.

For the record, I think I've listened to 2 Rogan podcasts in the last couple of months, I have been pretty turned off by his recent lunacy despite defending his right to host a podcast on Spotify.

But I saw this clip pop up on Youtube today and watched it out of morbid curiosity. Possibly the best example of "word salad" I've ever seen...

Love the comments saying this is great despite it being clear they have no idea what the fuck he's talking about.

Dear lord he's convinced himself that the Bible is the source of all literature.

I'm not sure I have the courage to actually listen to this, but it's obvious that clicking the button will not end well.

In fact it's so offensive we should shut down Youtube, Spotify, Twitter, Facebook, record stores, television and radio for having Kid Rock on their platforms. I guess even Forum Ice now that even they are hosting a link to this vile music.

Can't we just put kid rock to sleep instead? I kinda like YouTube and would prefer to not cancel it.
