OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Donovan Clingan gonna be a handful for Wemby. Battle of the young bigs.

If the Spurs guards forget how to shoot, that series is going 6 at least

Tiago Splitter taking that head coach job away from chauncey Billups

Portland has the big mobile bodies to match up with San Antonio and play them tough. It's both team's first time in the playoffs and I expect the games to be pretty competitive even though the Spurs will probably win in maybe six games.

Also does Orlando pull the plug on the Banchero experiment and flip him and stuff for Giannis?

Or is it Heat/Knicks.

That is exactly what I would do if I were Orlando. Spin WCJ and one or both or Suggs/Black out for a stretch 5 and a lead guard who can shoot. Shit...or just include Miles Turner in the trade in the first place and give the Suggs-Black-Bane backcourt a season to figure out if it works or not.

Black needs to be paid soon, that team is about to get very expensive.

Miles Bridges always gets slept on too. He's huge for them.
Moussa Diabate the board man on the Hornets. He was a culture around the rim tonight and Kept Ball possession for his team so many Times. Defensively he was protecting the rim and guarding the paint well

Here's the problem with RJ....especially when you're considering whether or not to pay him.

He's a really nice stabilizing bit of depth offence who has scored 20+ 28 times this year. But on a team without a true #1 option, he's scored 30+ once. In today's NBA if you're going to be a guy getting that #2-3 type shot diet, I think you need to be able to put the offence on your back 5-10 times a season and drop 30+.

For comparison, this is Ingram's 12th 30+ game. They're pretty similar players from an overall value standpoint, but Ingram's ability to take games over, even though he can't do it consistently, makes him the better offensive player imo.
Excellent post
