Remember, all of this shit is downstream of the league office burying the tampering investigation as well. The Clippers had their lead executive follow us around all fucking season, they tried to buy the Klaw logo from Nike to add to their free agency pitch (while he was Raptors property), and then we know that both us and the Lakers had ridiculous CBA breaking shit requested during talks with Uncle Dennis. All of this shit was investigated by the league office and just went away.
Had this been taken seriously from the onset (like, when Lawrence fucking Frank was trailing us like a team groupie), then the Clippers might not feel so comfortable obviously circumventing the cap to be able to match the money we could offer Kawhi. Shit, maybe if the league had actually punished Ballmer the first time he did this shit (arranged a 200K a year Lexus endorsement as part of the DeAndre Jordan incident in 2015), he wouldn't have been willing to do it again in 2019.
