OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Gay averaging 24.3 points per game since becoming a Raptor. Beautiful steal at the end of the game and winning shot in OT. Amir and Val came up big on the boards. I'm enjoying Raptor basketball again.
 
Gay is way better than people made it seem. I haven't followed the NBGay as closely the last few years so based on the way all the"experts" were talking I thought we were getting Andre Iguodala or another DeRozan. Gay may not be Lebron, Vince or Durant, but he's the next level down.
 
It's cause he's got a max contract, but he's not a super-duper star. (ignoring that quite a few people have max contracts in the league). Also, his shooting % is down significantly this year. He's got the talent though, to be right up there.
 
well, his position is a tough one.

He's not an MVP talent, and he may not even be an all-star talent at SF. Though he's close.
 
reminds me of what Ray Allen was in his prime.... a super solid all round player that doesn't have the flash, but is really good allround.
 
He needs to not settle for 3 pointers as much, but other than that he's been everything we could've asked for considering what we gave up.

We need one more piece on the team.

could be a pretty good team.

would need to add legit all-stars to the starting group for it to be a real upgrade, IMO.
