OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Also yes though, unless the Cavs somehow make the finals or something I can't see Harden not hitting free agency this summer. Someone will throw a good 3 yr at him.

I wouldn't be too surprised with a Harden opt in on a Lebron sign & trade though with Lebron going back to Cleveland.

really tough to figure how to match the players up due to the raps' injuries but for now i think these matchups make the most sense:

The only question is what he values himself as when he says that he did his part on the court this year. If he's willing to accept what he actually is on the court (80-85th percentile offensive player with defensive challenges that leads him to be a ~60th percentile player overall), then yeah, stay forever bro. You're a Colin Sexton, Malik Monk, Rui, etc level player. 18-22 million type guy.

he was far from great this series but he still legit outplayed Spider, in a similar role. pretty crazy.

I think he would have been a beast in this series had his role not been forced into growing so much. He got pushed into the type of offensive role that we know he struggles in. He's not an on-ball creator at all. I think his game (aside from the averagish 3 point shooting) is built for the playoffs when get can be used in his off ball role.

Spider was junk. Mobley and Allen were beasts. Our series really came down to us asking way too much of RJ & Shead. Which tracks given that they got slotted into Ingram and IQ's offensive roles.

All in all I'm fairly bullish on a Scottie-CMB-IQ-RJ-Walter-Shead group next season, with Ingram and Jake hopefully moved for reasonable value. Mamu I think I'd pay and keep just to have the ~12 million dollar salary around for cap matching in trades but I wasn't overly thrilled with his playoff performance. He wasn't terrible, but he should have been the scoring punch we needed and he was very very hit and miss trying to provide it. Thank fuck Ja'Kobe stepped up.

There is talk Denver could get a little skiddish about their core this offseason.

I do have questions if Murray is still Murray away from Jokic, but he's a far better player than Ingram and as long as it can be done without CMB ( for sure) or Walter ( ideally) i think i make that phone call, and move IQ to SG

Would depend on what the plus is tbh. Jamal's contract is fucking steep, I'm not sure how he would co exist with IQ and analytically they're not as far apart as people would think because of how bad Jamal is defensively.

If we're talking about Ingram + Dick and stuff....sure. If the plus includes draft capital, nah.
