OT: WWE/MMA/Boxing Thread

ehhhh...30-27 Felder? C'mon man, that's a shit scorecard.

Great fight though, could have gone either way.

Khabib is just unstoppable

He's gotten to the point where legitimately great fighters beat themselves mentally against him. You can't let Khabib back you up out of the middle of the ring and he's not a good striker, but great fighters find themselves backing up into the cage, which is exactly where Khabib wants them to shoot the double. The only guy who stuffed Khabib's wrestling well was Iaquinta and it's because he stood in the centre of the ring and basically allowed Khabib to jab him at will, but wouldn't step back. Khabib needs you up against the fence to do the whole Khabib thing.

Nice try by DP on the submission, but it never looked liked Khabib was gonna let him win

another good example of otherwise great fighters making mental mistakes against Khabib. He had the opportunity to really lock that in with full guard and he passed up on it. Khabib has that aura now where you're surprised to get an opportunity and you don't take it intelligently. Like when he clipped Khabib in the 2nd round, he went balls out flinging wild ass punches chasing Khabib around the ring. I've never seen Dustin out of control like that winging punches.

Too bad we didn't get to see this main event. They should run it back as soon as Stephens eye is healed up. Big opportunity for a young guy like Yair to put himself into that upper class.

Yeah, I put him above Colby and Cejudo, he's not on their cartoon character cringe level. But he's somewhere in the Bones (fakest dude in the game imo), Jeremy Stephens, Tony, Kevin Lee level of guys who are just bad shit talkers who just won't stop talking shit.

Sick card tonight. I won't be home to watch it in its entirety but hopefully can catch the end. If anyone has a working link to share please post/dm.

I've got the winners as: Diaz, Till, Thompson, Lewis, Gillispie, Walker.
