Because of me complaining earlier about our scoring in these playoffs, they put up four 5 on 5 goals.

But man, plays die on Evans’ stick. Even obvious ones. That second Newhook goal was all Newhook blowing by Dahlin at the last second.

Buffalo don’t have the ”Slapshot” attitude that Tampa had. Down 5-1, Tampa would so be about starting fights and sending message. Buffalo is relatively tame in comparison.

Yeah, that pretty much held. Newhook was our star. Its almost like the top three have faded into the background, they just don't look dangerous even with all that open ice. And Slafkowsky is now trying to set up Cole rather than shoot himself. He has to get over that.

Since I was hard on him first game back, I will say Dobson was very good tonight, as were all the defencemen generally. Carrier looked a bit lost early on, but had a fine second half of the game. The support forwards were all good, in particular Newhook of course. Dobes too. Our overall game was much better. Now if we could get something out of the first line, power play, and stop taking idiotic penalties. Thankfully the Sabres were not able to do much when we did.,
