I’m surprised that hockey is more random than baseball, but perhaps a lot of the “unpredictability” of baseball is in the variance in pitching within a team other than randomness.

I don’t remember all the details but randomness was about how often did the team that performed better that night win or not win

And in hockey, a team can control possession and high scoring chances and still lose at a rate higher than you’d expect compared to other sports
