Yeah, I had no idea who she was when they brought her out. Thought she sung it too slow. I've heard much better anthems. Especially in the 2nd game, she was so off-time with the fans that nobody sung it with her - it was only at the end that people caught up and cheered. And pretty sure anyone could do that.

Silly superstitions.

Ginette Reno is an icon in Quebec but she really lost some of her voice. She used to be a really powerful singer but I wasn't impressed at all by her renditions.

You do know she had a heart attack a few months ago? They operated on her immediately, artery was 95% blocked, she's actually lucky to be alive. Who knows, if it happened in Quebec maybe she'd be a goner...with our hospital system.
