Round 2 | Montréal vs. Boston

I was going to say it didn't look broken when he was using it to punch Weaver in the face.

Anyway, make the world a better place, punch Torrey Krug in the face

Torrey Krug is little turd who thinks he's tough because he knows someone will step in iof it gets messy.

I'm telling you guys onec Chara is ghone each guy in that lineup will shrink two feet and 25 pounds including Lucic

Seguin was a bit like PK when he started.....Hall Gill used to drill Subban for immature stuff....PK quickly matured....

I have a hard time believing that a veteran room like Boston couldn't do the same with Seguin.

I understand that Kessel trade was a money move (and apparently players didn't like him)....but the Seguin trade is crazy dumb....Imagine a lineup with Seguin-Bergeron-Krejci down the middle.

Once Thornton leaves, they will be seem much smaller.....

Thronton doesn't scare anyone...Chara is the one that intimidates because he's on the ice half the game and will always go to the defense of teammates.

Chara is getting old not only will he be doing that less but he may be close to retirement than we think

Yeah, Chara is the key, he even goes to defend Lucic, so that says a lot. With Chara's gone it will be up to Lucic to defend his teammates and he might not like that job. He's normally the aggressor and pick his fights. Chara would fight anyone and win and no one would fight him. Lucic wont' have it so easy after Chara is gone.

Exactly....Chara went after Emelin when Lucic got hit.

Chara is the policeman and each of those guys know that Chara will have their back and no one in the league wants a piece of this guy.

Once Chara is gone that team will look very very ordinary toughness wise and even team wise as defensively they will be far from what they are

Chara's time is going downhill. He is getting hold and skating with that big body is starting to wear on him. He could barely skate at the end against us. I don't see how he could have keep up until the cup.

Lurch has played a lot of hockey in the last four seasons, two trips to the final, Olympics etc. He also didn't have Seidenberg protecting him.

Well we did get the benefit of a tired Chara, but it won't be any easier with each passing year. Hopefully other teams have taken notice of what Chicago (last year) and the Habs did and challenge Chara every time he's on the ice. Make him turn and skate and get bodies on him.

Good dude MT @ESPNJoeyMac: Lucic: "I'm not sorry."
Added, "What's said on the ice, stays on the ice. I'm not the first guy or the last guy."

Bruins are in the past so lets just all stop talking about them. Onto the Rangers and it all starts tomorrow.

Chara doesn't bother me, we have Gallagher to take care of him.

I wonder if he would have the same reaction if a Hab made fun of his hunchback or called Iginla a ,,,,,, would that stay on the ice?

Of course not, I've dealt with people like him, it's incredibly frustrating because their egos and lack of intelligence prevent them from being self aware.

Trading Seguin was big mistake . I wonder he never got chance to play down middle in Boston . that is where you get best of him and we see result this year in Dallas .

Seguin is not a Julien type player - he values defensive awareness/responsibility over all else, it's the basis of his system. Seguin is better suited for Dallas' run & gun system.
