He's moved from one set of huge lies (autonomous vehicles) to a new set of huge lies and we will reward him for this by making him a trillionaire.
When we allow such massive perverse incentives to dominate our society, how do we even survive as a species? This is a brutal brutal example for us to allow to exist and I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that it's existential.

It's not that there aren't useful tools that can come out of this. But this idea of running autonomously to replace expert level humans is fantasy. There's no industry there of a scale big enough to return the investment and then on an ongoing basis generate enough revenue per use that it's competitive with...better... Human talent.
The fantasies will get more and more vivid as this gets closer to it's death though. People who have spent years and billions bringing their projects to market want to get paid.

I propose that we implement a new international law:
Whenever someone’s net worth exceeds One trillion US dollars, the world should celebrate their momentous achievement by making it legal for anyone on planet Earth to kill them by any means necessary.

We should definitely use the guillotine on billionaires afterwards, but I really think it’d be more fun to kick things off by giving trillionaires something resembling a “The Running Man”-style treatment.
Except instead of evading government-trained assassins, it’s every other person on earth. Fun!
