Tech Thread

Ok, catch me up: Is the screen necessary for car operation; can it be disabled without affecting car ops? What else is it s'posed to do. . .that's useful?

these screens are used for lots of things, settings, navigation, apps, etc. I guess people can turn them off if they want, but my understanding is that they're used a lot. But if you do allow it to turn on, which most ppl would want to do, it's hard to avoid seeing the ad at that point.

Thanks! I haven't driven in almost 10 years, prob'ly won't ever again, but if I did, I'd prob'ly turn it off - too many years of driving with the biggest distraction being whether to select AM or FM on the radio. 😊
