Third bread is the worst.

In fact, when I get my burger at in n out, I eat it in such a way that I slowly slide back the top bread and essentially bite under it and eat through without ever eating the top bread. Remove 50% of the carb intake and guilt.

I respect the brilliance of the Big Mac, it clearly exploded in popularity for more than just marketing reasons. They nailed the formula to a tee.

I tried it fairly recently for the first time, and I was horrified. I respect it and understand it, but I also hate it with a passion. Can't imagine there's another burger out there that I'd dislike more than this one.

I haven’t had a Big Mac in maybe 15 years, but when I got it back then I’d order it with no third bread and no cheese. It was tasty and I’m sort of curious what it’s like these days. But I exclusively get the plan filet o fish over there and I can’t seem to deviate from getting my favorite item on the menu of wherever I’m at, variety be damned.

this is the quintessential Presto post...you can sub in almost anything instead of Big Mac and it works!!

ie...

I tried listening fairly recently for the first time, and I was horrified. I respect it and understand it, but I also hate it with a passion. Can't imagine there's another podcaster out there that I'd dislike more than this one.

It's a hard meh as a burger, a relic of a time where we had no taste in food. Small, skinny patties with nothing going for them other than being press fried beef disks served on 1 bun too many, with a burger sauce that is actually a fucking mediocre salad dressing rebranded.

there's a patty in there? I remember it in the pictures but never tasted it. I'm going to try after 12 Bud Lights the next time

But the meat isn't the star of the show. And the big mac is extremely self aware and acknowledges this. The differentiating features are the sauce and extra bread. I get it. But it's shit.
