The Good The Bad & The Ugly - Round 2 Game 5 Lightning vs Habs

BrianWilde
Pacioretty: Often you can feel like summer's coming. It just doesn't feel like that now. We get to spend more time together with these guys.

Habs have become much more disciplined since their 6-2 meltdown. It's going to be hard knocking them off that wagon with the results they're getting, and as it happens, it's the Bolts starting to go brain deficient now.

Just got to not get discouraged if things go tough. Getting the first goal has been huge the last 2 games - but we need to keep playing this way even if they score first, or if the refs try to do us in. In a perfect world we throw a ton of goals past Bishop the next game to really throw them

The Good is that they won and get to play again. The Power play actually looked dangerous, now they just have to score on it. They need to change the angle they are hitting posts at, which get them a few more goals. Bishop is beatable and if they get the pressure on him early on Tuesday, he may crack completely. Hopefully Gallagher is not near him when he cracks. Price needs another first-star performance to make sure there is a game 7.

the PP changed because Petry has patience with the puck, he was faking shot and then changing the shooting / passing lane once the Tampa player commits, I was saying all game I wished PK was doing that more and look what he did on the winning goal.. a lane changed by 6 inches can be the difference sometimes

It feels like we are ahead 2 games to 3. Win on Thursday and it's over. Price won't lose to Bishop in a game 7 in Montreal, and from reading Tampa post-game comments, they seem to be unravelling.

Would love to see RKB's face if we pull it off.

Bishop said #TBLightning turned it on in 3rd period but it was too little too late. "It's tough when you only show up for half the game."

Gotta give PAP credit on that goal though. No hesitation on the one-timer and he absolutely ripped that shot. It made me say "where the hell has that been all this time"?

Nice, keep throwing your team under the bus.
