and coming off a terrible season so pretty much anything he does will look good. easy chance at a jack adams in year 1 here.

I don't know that I'd want to walk into that Avs situation tbh. Everyone over 30 now. No draft picks. No capspace. Coming off a great regular season but exposing some worrying flaws in the playoffs. Even keeping the team afloat at their current level wouldn't get him much glory, and if they start dipping then who's gonna get the blame.
