Yeah, its not exciting, but i think you find the Bedard W in FA and do an overpay on a 1-2 year deal, maybe a Bjorkstrand/Kane/Tarasenko/Zucc.

I'd have all of the 27 picks in play including our own, but i think the 4th is off limits for me unless im getting Robertson who extends. Knies and Kyrou are really really good, but i'd rather keep the 4 cause of timeline
 
Yup Joshua is more than fine. It's one of the few Treliving moves that was just mediocre and lacked ambition as opposed to just pure shit.

The only confounding factor imo is Bedard's state of mind and contract situation. I don't think you're in danger of him bolting or anything, but him even flirting with RFA this closely is no bueno, and I'm sure he's in your front offices ear about wanting to see the team improve sooner rather than 2030.

Yeah, they do need to do something.

I was stunned to learn they plan on rolling out Bedard/Frondell/Nazar all at C. They simply dont have the W to do that. Kansterov and Lardis are nice ideas and i think Bert at least is pretty good, but man, Moore cant finish ( yet), Burakovsky stinks, Donato and Greene project as bottom 6ers, and Tuevo looks more middle 6 than top 6. I dont get why they think they can spread out this thin. Mikheyev was one of their better wingers, and i dont mind him walking but they really should be adding 1-2 top/middle 6 wingers in FA to at least somewhat make their star's life easier
 
Like maybe they just throw 1/7 at Tarasenko see if he clicks for half a season then get a 3rd for him at the deadline while retaining?

I have heard them linked to Jared McCann recently, and he moreso reeks of FLA/EDM 27 1st cost than 4th overall
 
If I'm Chayka I'm telling every GM in the league that Knies is 30 goal Engvall. They would not be able to keep it in their pants. Best sales pitch ever.
