The bull case is that Roslovic is very tight with both Werenski and Matthews. If that's the ultimate reason for the move and it all materializes, then this is a slam dunk. It's not a disaster, but that's the only part about this that actually excites me.
 
That experiment failed tho and he went back to the wing. Like Domi played a bunch of center with the Leafs. I wouldn't call either of them centers.

But I'd be happy to see a deeper dive on his numbers at center.
 
With the Robertson trade and the signing of Roslovic we’re off to a pretty meh start to free agency.

Get all the Blue Jackets. Roslovic, Jenner, Bob, Werenski.
 
Columbus should still be fielding offers for Werenski, but I guess they have little incentive to trade him just for the sake of trading him. In a year, they can trade him attached with a contract extension so they may even feel that this would be the better time to maximize their return, depending on how many teams he'd be open to extending with.
 
Personally, I'd rather sign Carlson as a free agent than give up assets in a trade and then struggle to replace those assets on the roster.
