Only guess is to kill the clock on a quick incompletion. Failed QB sneak takes it to 0:00

When will people realize that Belichick was never that good a coach? His only period of success was with Brady. Once Brady left, he went back to being the mediocrity he was in Cleveland.

Yes taking the GOAT QB off the roster and replacing him with rookies and the ghost of Cam Newton will result in a mediocre team. But the defense was always the driver on the Pats, especially the first few SB wins when Brady was not playing at a high level yet.
