The Playoffs Thread

Very entertaining. I thought Doc was going to bust his larynx.

There was a sequence in the 3rd period where he needed a TV timeout more than the players.

Good series, to say the least. I felt like Chicago was going to be too much for Tampa to handle, but the Bolts performed just fine and the battle level in this series was fierce to say the least. A single 2-goal lead for either team? In 6 games? That's nuts.

Even more impressive is the path that the Hawks had to chop their way through to hoist that Cup ... a VERY tough Nashville team, a versatile Minnesota team and that fearsome physical beast that is the Ducks, all to get to a Tampa team playing well above their collective pay grades. Impressive falls short. Much respect, guys.

Chicago is/was a well oiled machine.
Tampa was inexperienced and kept alive by youth and exuberance . Both teams are forces to be reckoned with in the future. Tampa made a lot of mistakes which they will learn by.

Tampa will be sniffing around future Cups for years to come...great young team with a smart coach and an even better GM.
