Bergevin will never get rid of a soft-spoken 30 goal scorer who's underpaid compared to other 30 goal scorers in the league. He doesn't trade players, he trades salaries. If Subban wasn't making $9 million with a NTC about to kick in he'd probably still be around. As much as Bergevin likes Weber if PK had a lower price tag he'd have kept him.

We need to accept the fact that this team is cheap. They overpay mediocrities like Pleks and DD and grind the skill players. False economy.
 
I am not absolving Therrien/Muller of blame. That being said, they can't win battles on the ice, they can't cover guys in front of the net etc.

In the end, the team put out three straight bad efforts. We were 2-1 only because the opponents are shit.

In that 10-0 game, scoring chances were 25-17 for Columbus, 19-15 at ES. High danger chances were 10-7 Jackets.

Montoya was just as bad as the rest of them. It's more glaring when it's the goalie.
 
Max, 11 and 14 were only 3 players in room to answer the Q? Where was the leader we got in a trade this summer?!

The leader we got in the trade has been showing up on the ice.

As for Max and 14 it was nice of them to show up for something at least because they've been MIA so far this year
