Who is up for a rebuild. You know how to say it!

I think that is an honest analysis from a player standpoint, but the driving belief behind the trade from JR seemed to be that both Eric and Jordan would become better players together playing on the same team. This theory has seemed to backfire and actually both players have regressed from a couple of seasons ago.

If you trade Eric, you try like heck to get a big center back that might be a tad younger...would any of these players make sense via a trade...Ryan O'Reilly, Paul Stastny, Ryan Johansen...

If I were JR I call Edmonton right away. Eric Staal could be a huge addition to that team. You sell a veteran, Cup winning leader (never-mind we all think he is a lousy Captain....Edmonton is far away and doesn't know ;)) that can help turn the youth into winners. Edmonton also has some guys to send back to make sense in a package deal...maybe RNH?

Yeah right, do you think a whiny E. Staal is going to want to spend his next five to seven years in the frozen tundra of Edmonton? See Pronger...Chris...
