Rumours, Innuendos and Flat out B.S.: 2014 - 2015 NHL Season

Gotta like how the Flames and Oilers (35.69%) upped the prices so much. Must be because of all the success they have had.

Oil Money bitchez. Their version of XPO makes 5X the cash doing the same job at Tim's

Lots drive from Fort Mac to Edmonton (though I do know a few season ticket holders that do make the drive).

You mean people are paying double the face value for islanders tickets?!?!?!?!?!?!

I'm just pointing out what the link says they are. Values on the secondary market.

And it's not as easy as "If x team just jacked up the price, they could be valuable too".

The valuable part is because people are willing to pay for it, consistently, no matter the product.

I have made that drive quite often to see an Oilers game. Usually it's against some other team that I want to see.

Not to mention their beer prices. I'm waiting for the service fee to use the washroom. I'm sure it will come eventually. Pay as you go as they say.
What washrooms? More like herded cattle in the bowels of the bell centre. They should install turnstiles.

I would settle for those automatic sensors for the water faucet to wash your hands in the washroom...it's retarded to have to press on the button every 5 seconds....even the small holes in the wall restaurants are more advanced technologically

Send your complaint to Geoff. He'll listen.

Regarding the previously mentioned Letang rumors (Montreal on his trade list)... I would actually look into it if Pittsburgh ate some of his salary. He has a $7.5M cap hit. If we could get him around $5M I think it needs to be looked at. Yeah he had a stroke so you need to obviously have the Habs medical team look him over with a fine tooth comb but he is only 27. His contract is until he is 34. At a hit of $5M I think he makes a great second pair option behind Subban (as they both play the right side).

Gilbert-Subban
Markov-Letang
Emelin-Weaver/Tinordi/Bolo

IMO that would be the best D unit in the East. Letang is plenty fast enough to get back if Markov gets caught pinching. As long as the health is there, I think it's a solid move for the future.

The Panthers may suck but their arena is awesome. Oh and automatic faucets too Rolex.

Sounds interesting, but trading for him wouldn't be painfree and would mortgage future to upgrade an already OK group of 7 on defense.
Habs could use an All Star forward much more so than another d.

beat me to it

I admit I have only seen three games at the Bell Centre, but I have had no problems when I was there, sure it is crowded in the hallways but so is Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Yeah I don't know what the deal is either. I never had a problem there. The hallways could be a bit larger but it's not been much of an issue for me.
