Irrelevant. The Bruins do not underestimate them.
I don't underestimate the management, coaching, and the calibre of players - it's the inferiority complex the Bruins organization possesses which makes them lose. They should've swept the Habs in 4 in 2011, the Habs were not at all a good team - they needed game 7 OT on a fluky deflection off Halpern to win it. The Bruins played terrified that whole game, hence, inferiority complex.You guys are seriously underestimating the team that finished first overall. They also have home ice.
As much as I'd love to make quick work of the Ruins, I just don't see it.
Lookit if the Habs fail to show up & play, yeah they'll get killed, or if they decide to try and match fist for fist in a royal rumble as they did vs Sens instead of concentrating on hockey yeah they'll lose.I believe in karma and you guys are asking for it in a hard way.
Bruins are a better team now than they were in 2011. The cards fell right for them then.
The Habs are also a better team than they were then. It will be a good series.
Lurker more than a contributor these days.Wow, it's flashback day... who's this Dean guy?

There's one Canadian city where you don't hear many fans complaining about the coverage on HNIC: Toronto.
Think about it: what is the main complaint that fans have when it comes to the coverage? Not that Don Cherry has outlived his usefulness, that Ron Maclean is Gary Bettman's lackey or that PJ Stock is a fatuous idiot or anything vague and esoteric. It's one complaint and one complaint only:
Pro-Toronto bias.
Two teams on the ice but only one that ever seems to matter (whether that team is actually playing or not) When the playoffs begin and the first Saturday night telecast features Nazem Khadri as a special guest (so they can have a convenient excuse to spend the intermissions ignoring the games they're supposed to be covering in favour of a Leafs' hot stove discussion) you know where their priorities lie and also that the charges leveled against them are valid.
Geoff needs to bribe the refs with the best blow and hookers the city has to offer. I'm tired of reading stories about corruption in Quebec that don't benefit me directly.
Three and a half lol. We kicked their butts
Rask 3-13 lifetime vs Habs: 1-7 lifetime vs PriceThéo's comment about Habs ,Carey and second round ;
i like you optimist about this serie . but i doubt it will be as easy as you think. i am not yet convinced about Price in PO and i am sure i will be crazy nervous when puck is dropped in Boston .Rask 3-13 lifetime vs Habs: 1-7 lifetime vs Price
Bruins have never beaten Habs in playoffs w Markov in the lineup (02, 04, 08) - did not play due to injury in 09 & 11....
