Thursday doesn't work for me. I sent Geoff a persuasive email that I hope he passes on to Cam Neely.
A few predictions:
1) One of Chara, Lucic, or Marchand will seriously injure one of our best players, possibly Vanek, just as he's starting to go on a roll. Probably in game 4, probably with the Habs up 2-1 in the series.
1b) There will be no suspension, and it will be a ridiculous non-suspension.
1c) Very few people in the media will disagree, or make a big deal of it.
1d) There will be 1 marginal call in the Habs favor that will help them get a win, and the media will be ALL OVER IT. (Kinda like the supposed "bad call" against Tampa in game 4)
2) The Bruins will continue to take liberties, as the refs won't call anything against them. As the series goes on, they will wear us down.
3) Bruins win in 7. I know... trust me, it hurts me to say it. But the Bruins are a VERY good team. And they are VERY dirty, and they know how to get away with their dirty play. And as I said above, they will wear us down. There may even be a bias that prevents them from taking suspensions. Also, Rask. I really hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
That being said, if any team in the east can beat Boston, it's Montreal. They really do seem to play well against them. A little luck and if the refs are fair and don't let Boston get away with too much, we could easily take this series, maybe even in 6.

Simulated game tonight vs the Bulldogs black aces.
Trying to simulate a game day.
If they lose, the bulldogs players get to play game 1?
In the 4-games vs Boston with Murray on the ice; PK hasn't allowed a goal in 13 opportunities, and no goals against 5-on-5.
He serves an effective purpose, but it'll take good pre-game planning & bench management by JJ - especially for games in Boston.

what channel is it on?
what channel is it on?
I'm guessing that if either of the Metro. division series go to a 7th game, on Wednesday night, round 2 in the East won't start until Saturday.
I take it you want the series to start Saturday.
Friday night is fine. I'm busy coaching my son's hockey team Thursday evening . . . and he's busy playing.
It's called a PVR.
and I suspect you mean roller hockey?
yeah it is a pain for sure, I have to add 3 hours and then hope I don't know the result, which is harder come playoffs
so when your son's team loses, is it your fault as the coach as by definition you were outcoached?
Yes, in-line, and DVR'ing playoff games is a bitch, as I'm sure you know - plus, my kids want to watch the game too. Anyway, it seems like the series will likely start on Friday night, with game 2 on Sunday at 3 p.m.
