Michel Therrien

Listening to postgame conference from MSG.

Vigneault is much more enjoyable to listen to than Therrien....I feel dumber after listening to Therrien fumble through every english word in the dictionary. You'd think he'd learn how to articulate his words better after spending all these years in the NHL....

MT's problem is not articulation, it's not having anything to articulate.

We all know that MT was hired as a transition coach. Let's hope we move on to a real coach now, it's time...

That's what the Rags did two years ago after Torts instilled some discipline in them over 4 seasons, and we are pretty much where they were developmentally as a team in 2012.

Won't happen until team does badly in season

Possibly but . . . I think he's vulnerable due to poor special teams play. MB said after the Ottawa series that he expected the team to be much better on the PP in the second round . . . and they obviously were not. Is that on the players or MT? We probably beat Tampa if the PP scores 2 or 3 more goals.

Yes, the leash will be shorter next year, but it will be there. Unless MT "retires"

The team took a step back overall this season. MB, I hope, has that in mind and is pro-active in going forward...

I wonder if a reporter will be gutsy enough to ask him about Babcock

Obviously he'll answer he has no interest but it'll be fun to see how he answers that

Babcock won't be available next season if we get off to a slow start . . . and he love Schwartz's. It's a match made in heaven.

Exactly...MT, like Ward said, has an expiration date and better now than waiting for 2 months into the season as Carey puts up a %917 and we're floundering around .500.
