OT: Fanboy fight: XBox V Playstation

When I redid it on Tuesday I was kind of surprised by just how much I'd forgotten about, that takes place before the first mini-boss fight. Definitely lots of puzzles & different mechanics you have to figure out as a team before they throw you into a fight (where even more game mechanics & puzzles need to be solved, haha)


3 hours in though I suspect you're probably getting close...and that first mini-boss fight is definitely one of my favorites out of all three raids.

I think it's next, we're at the totems with the death singer power. Took forever to figure out that god damn mechanic.
 
Incredibly happy to hear you guys are doing in blind. It's exponentially more satisfying.

...and yeah, those totem mechanics f*ck ed me up even my second time through as it took me a couple runs to remember exactly when everyone should switch.

Started a fresh run with some more experienced King`s Fall clan members :)
Hit up some hidden chests and reached Oryx. Probaly won`t be able to kill him before reset :(

From the makers of Out of the Park Baseball (company I work for which is also a fantastic baseball sim game), the second iteration of our hockey management sim game was released yesterday. If you haven't played a management game, you're essentially put in the role as the GM of the team, and manage that way. However, you can also set lineup, line tactics, and so on. I'd definitely recommend it to most of the people on this board, who seem to think they know more than the actual NHL GMs.

Stoked to hear you were able to do ostensibly the full rub blind tho, that's awesome. That first moment Oryx climbs up is pretty damn epic. Love that they gave him a 'God of War' type look.

Sherpa'd a friends group through Warpriest last night....even tho its one of the first boss fights, it's definitely one of my favorites.

Will definitely need to go through that (assuming it's a map of all calcified fragments) as I've only picked up 20-30 so far.

Yeah, I played the FHM demo a bunch of years ago and it was okay, but a fair bit behind Football Manager and as I've played that a bunch, FHM felt like a bit of a let down.

Football manager is the elite. They sell a million copies a year and are the premier game in Europe.

OOTP (and FHM) are a ways back from that. But still enjoyable games I think :)
 
I'll give this new version a whirl. I didn't really expect FHM to be FM, you're right, that would be silly. It's how basic it was in comparison that bugged me.
 
Rumple, the Black Spindle Daily Heroic story is up again today.....just finished it and got the Sniper (@310, since I was 301 light when it dropped) and also got a real sweet legendary ship ("The Vienna Singer").

Well worth taking another stab at if you can get a team together.

It's still dropping at 310 for everyone, which bungie said is bugged. So infuse it into something before they "fix it". Going for it again tonight, so hopefully I have better luck. I'm rolling with a nice solar sniper, and sword now so it should make it easier.

Get the Legendary edition.....which is Destiny + both DLC'S & The Taken King. Best value and only way to play Taken King content if new to the franchise.

Should be ~$70 or so I think.


The Taken King is $40 but is just for those that already owned Destiny, and both DLC's......there's also a collectors edition that is ~$90, that has all the content and some added bonus stuff, but it's not worth the extra cash imo. Legendary edition is the way to go for most people.

I'll be getting Destiny once I get my PS4 in November. But from what I've read, yeah Taken King is the best value for your $$.
