Habs trade PK Subban to Predators for Shea Weber

Damn Judas things these guys have no loyalty.

Christ, what a butt**** of a bunch of a guys, turn on each other like rats.
They really aren't saying anything that we don't see in games.

Spinorama that leads to goals against.

Rushing from one end of the ice to the other on the power play that just ends up being dumped out of the zone.

Pk is a awesome talent, but he had some flaws in his game.

"got a whole lot closer to winning a Stanley Cup" - Pernell Karl Subban Jun 29, 2016

hardly the same Salamander and if anything, his comment that day would reflect his hurt and dismay by being traded by the team he loved in the city he adopted, he never ripped on the slackers, panty waists or never beens that our braintrust has accumulated

Agreed.

However, as many have stated MB didn't make this deal to make his BFF (MT) happy, the players it seems with all these public statements collectively wanted PK out. The rumor which NHL radio surfaced the day of the deal of Jr & MB having a long chat with Price before finally pulling the trigger is looking more & more realistic.

I think he made the deal to piss off Count, HP, Brad and Berkshire. The rest of us have moved on.

and of course that is why the thread has over 3000 replies, because y'all have moved on (btw, I assume I will never see you reference the McDonagh trade ever again?)

I blame Angela....

Before the wedding, Price and Subban were inseparable....literally always together outside the rink

Agreed. This will come back to haunt them if PK plays really well for his new team imo.

I had a colleague at work who's a huge Habs (anglo) fan tell me today that he was happy PK was traded because he was a cancer and enjoyed the limelight too much (he couldn't stand that PK spoke to media even after losses? What?) Anyhow, I could barely have a discussion with him as I was so pissed (still too touchy I guess): he was just repeating all the stuff the media has been spewing about PK! :nono
Another colleague claimed her hubby (a francophone is a huge fan of the Habs) was going to follow Nashville Predators now because of PK ... just to see how he was going to do over there :lol

Needless to say this convo about PK is not going to end anytime soon!!!! :shrug

Now that you mention it, McDonagh would fit pretty nicely on the Habs right now with Weber.

He never ripped anyone on the team after the trade. He stayed classy. There is NO reason for his teammates to go Judas on him.

We've been over this: most NHL players are small town rednecks. Not surprised they are happy to see Weber playing alongside them (just like Toews was thrilled to see Weber leave his conference)

Are you saying they're mostly deplorables?
