Bergevin, Mellanby, Lapointe, Dudley, Churla, Lefebvre, Dufresne...what do all their careers have in common?

Hint: marginal talent

Should add I'm a huge Dudley fan, he's got a natural eye for recognizing a diamond in the rough & is likely the reason why pro-scouting is as good as it is for the Habs.

most stars don't need the money and aggravation after they retire. it makes sense that scrubs look for work in the only field they know.

a scrub can be a good teacher/manager because it's most likely their physical limitations is what held them back -- not their understanding of the game.

Lost of stars like Wayne Gretzky failed as coaches/GMs

I think his point is this management group who were identified more by their character as players than talent will not overlook that aspect even if a player is clearly talented.

Yeah those are the articles I read, nowhere does it mentions or even insinuate that Hudon might not be a good teammate.

With what was said during Bergevin's press conference, none of his staff is doing anything wrong, so I really doubt it.

Sly, along with Timmins and Lapointe would be my first guys to replace ASAP after the draft.

He told them they were all doing amazing work -- the team simply ran into a hot goalie. Hopefully that doesn't happen next year guys.
