St. John's IceCaps: 2016-17 Season

It's pretty crazy that Hudon has spent 3 solid years in the AHL, given all the auditions we have handed out over the past 2 years (JDLR, Carr, Ghetto, Holloway. Lessio, Matteau, Christian Thomas, Chris Terry, etc)

Character guys!

I wish there was some way of not protecting Petry....hoping Wings want a hometown Dman, especially since Holland said he will not be doing a rebuild

trying to hide him from vegas?

1) Vegas is perfectly capable of scouting the AHL, and have probably been doing so all season.

2) Vegas has hired Vaughn Karpan as their director of player personel, a guy who used to work for the Habs. I think he knows who Hudon is.

There is no secret or trying to hide someone here.

Still Hudon got like what, 4 points in 3 games?

Interesting article here: http://plus.lapresse.ca/screens/50aed3d6-98f2-4a4e-84ad-4ba117f43ab4|Ek~TYGM96XSS.html

Basically, Vegas is scouting the Icecaps. Might be interested in claming Hudon instead of getting rid of Plek for us. This could be bad. Scount said they are well aware of who Hudon is and without saying too much, it was apparently obvious he was there to see him play. If Vegas is going with a younger team, Hudon would be a good pick up for them. Bergevin better make up his mind if he wish to protect him or not.

Vegas should scout every AHL team, and with vaughn Karpan on their staff, they knew who he was long ago.

Not so much going with a younger team, they have to draft 30 players and keep under the cap, Some of those picks will be headed to the AHL.

So according to Mathias Brunet the reason Hudon was not called up by Habs is he is not a good teammate. Is it freaking army or what??
