OT: American Politics

Good speech by Canada's foreign minister, Chrystia Freeland

That actually was a great speech. Good to read it and see them come out with some concrete and principled plans/policy.

It's too bad Freeland couldn't be our first woman PM.

I agree and that is essentially exactly what I said to them.

Then I am getting hit from all sides by these people calling me a victim bashing POS.

Crazy NDP'ers
As for the topic itself.

I don't have any sympathy. I don't consider her an "enabler" though. She's just an accessory for him. They both get what they "want" from the relationship. She isn't him though and doesn't deserve to wear everything he does - people didn't do that to Laura Bush when W was in power. Essentially we shouldn't treat her different based on the perceived genuineness of their marriage.

As for judging her. Go nuts. There are millions and millions (quite literally half of all married women) who are also likely unhappy...but they aren't mega rich and the first lady. No sympathy.

Was thinking the same thing. Pretty delicate. God help us if the enemy makes a mom joke.

If it was anyone but the **** I wouldn't care, but the fact that he's a dick means he gets that response.

Either way happy days ahead.

Eric Trump to Hannity on Democrats:

"I've never seen hatred like this. To me, they're not even people"

then blamed democrats for obstructionism.

guy's a dummy. he's so far in over his head in life.

the guy is a blowhard moron. i don't think he even realizes he did anything wrong by trying to stop the investigation.

@realDonaldTrump
The FAKE MSM is working so hard trying to get me not to use Social Media. They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out.

lol. the media loves his tweets as it provides easy stories for days.

He's mixed up the media with his own staff.

Re: OT: Canadian Politics

Oh, I'm sorry? What did you do again?

Did you contact your local MP and write to them about this?

Did you tell the people who call asking for money that they wont see a dime from you until the promise to invest in the forces?

Did you go to town halls and make a fuss about how the liberals promised to fix the problems plaguing the forces but to date haven't done sweet **** all?

Did you bring it up online on forum boards, social media and among friends and family to raise awareness on how everyone was dropping the ball at a time where the LPC wants to send troops overseas?

You're welcome...screw you.

Jeeze, so angry after dipping into his wallet.

I just don't like count. he's a jack ass thus I don't see the need to be civil with him.

To everyone else, thank you for electing the government that has decided to spending 32 billion dollars on defense, up to 1.4 percent of GDP by 2026

Nice! A few more years of the government giving you raises to stand around flooded streets in Quebec - plus milking your wife's disability scam - and you can retire! Live the dream on a beach somewhere. Maybe a little side gig scamming seniors over the phone or something. You know, just to keep busy.

haha, get real.

70 percent of your 5 best years after 25 years of service, 19 years left to go.

I'll be 49, decent enough time to retire.

Granted, this is based on me not dying in a godforsaken hell hole somewhere. :pepper:thumbup:

You really believe that will happen? I've been hearing that type of promise from various governments for the past 40+ years. As soon as there is a down-tick in the economy, a change in government, or the government of the day needs finds funding for other promises, the military budget is usually one of the first ministries to be raided.
