OT: Movies/TV Shows

I watch Magicians, it's ****ing great.
It doesn't hurt that Julia has that Jennifer Love Hewitt think going on, but really, the show is just plain fun.

nah never heard of the books.

tbh the first season was kind of off, and I didn't even know there were actual books, and it seemed like it was trying too hard to be a cool harry potter.

but it's pretty great now.
 
I am watching a great new show, its called sudden brainstorm, its all about this highly touted NHL hockey coach who refuses to play his best lineup, why, I just saw an episode last night, its called the Maple Leafs, led by Mikey Badcock.
 
Not sure if serious, but there was like a page of talk about it.

I am 5 episodes in. I like it. It has a Blade Runner feel to it.
 
Saw Hostiles yesterday. Holy **** that's a slow plotted movie. It was ok but I'd wait for video.

Haven't seen that yet but my cousin(inlaw) is in it... when he was with us for Christmas he explained his part as "I'm the guy who dies so my wife can fall for the hero".... lol.

I was serious. Completely missed it. Probably are you crying about This is Us

I am finding it hard to get into.

I think I will rewatch the first few episodes.
