at this stage of the draft it is probably better to do the opposite

trade down and get more picks

If there’s a player you want why chance someone else taking them? Unless there are so many better options in 2nd round...which I don’t think is the case. Besides Tuch is going to Northeastern, Habs have 4-years to let him develop his game...perfect fit!

I don't think they take him with 47 or 48, possibly with 57.

having a huge group move up together is problematic. We drafted a lot of kids last year- I would have rather seen the Habs target more quality than quantity this year
 
I remember the 2-7 rounds going by in lightning speed in the past. Thank COVID and 2020 for this.
