Lowry would have been such a great fit in Philly. Plus, a local kid, played college there too, coming home to help bring win a championship after a 30 year drought. Morey really fucked up. The path to a championship was the easiest in years. Missed opportunity.

I mean Embiid is kinda awesome. Problem is they fooked up other parts of the process. It's kinda criminal they really only ended up with those two as cornerstones. Imagine if they just take Tatum instead of Fultz, never mind the rest of their mistakes. But having Simmons completely stagnate offensively is probably the worst part of it all. You can't have a guy like that on your team in the NBA and win. He needs to either find a jumper or they need to trade him.

Philly's main problem is that trading Simmons is going to make them worse, full stop. He's very valuable over an 82 game regular season. In the playoffs though, and a 7 game series, teams try to take away what a guy does best. In Ben's case that's going to the rack, and he doesn't have a shot whatsoever so, he becomes neutered. You simply cant win building around a guy like that.
They were never getting Tatum over Fultz , agreed upon deal with the fool Colangelo with Ainge when they swapped picks
Emid is a star but never a clutch player and a turnover machine late in games when he is forced to do too much
Regimes are a disgrace , they cant develop anyone and have no bench
The Process was never going to work , tear it down
Simmons has the IQ of a turnip , time to move on

no, not really. He's actually incredibly smart defensively and he's a great playmaker offensively. His complete lack of a shot is really hurting him though.
