Yup replace him. We need a good developmental coach in Laval now. So many young kids will be coming through there the next few years. Slaf is lon term project. Lots want to gamble for upside in draft and Slaf is a gamble with potential high payoff.
 
Yeah, I don't know why we go to all the trouble of hiring MSL and changing the focus to player development and then we simultaneously allow someone named Houle to be employed to do anything besides selling beer.

I was going to mention this, so that might just save his job. But the lack of detail on D might be his demise and certainly doesn't help the goalies. Need to give them a chance to make the save.

RHP looked great, Barron was much improved, Ylonen was better, Belzile was surprising. His main job is development and it seems like everyone improved, except Primeau but that’s not on Houle. Maybe he’s good at development but bad in-game coach? It’s not like he had a big team either.
 
Yeah. I don’t get all the Houle hate. Not his fault his dad was a terrible GM

What metrics are you using to assign him a negative grade. Like others have said, the players promoted to MTL have not looked out of place, so that’s a substantial positive

Not too out of place for a 28th place team? I think people have lowered their standards. Aside from RHP they're still all plugs and won't be on this team when ready to compete.

Oh no, I’ve been bitching about development for the longest time. Good prospects would go to our farm team to die. It got better with Bouchard and Houle. Again, who’s development has been disappointing you? Honest question, not trying to trick you or whatever. I’m also open to replace Houle, I just don’t quite understand what he’s done wrong.
