I just won't believe he doesn't want to stay.

Game plan has to be to act like he's leaving unless they pony up fast, hoping to get something done before July. If that doesn't work, hope the Panthers guys resign or sign elsewhere and then circle back. He's crazy if he actually wants to go.

You just refuse to believe he isnt a soft asshole or that that every Ontario kid wants to play for Toronto no matter what

Yeah all that mirtle stuff is how I read the Treliving presser, including the bit about them knowing their d isn't perfect but doesn't expect them to address it.

But yeah, he really made it sound like Marner was over it.

I'd tell the organization to fuck off as well.

Trevling is known for fucking this type of thing up.

Leafs are just lucky this time that it is a good thing
 
Yeah I'm a bit comforted at all the rumors surrounding Tre shopping him. He really tried to get assets for him. But Mitch just wanted to fuck the leafs over. Great work by him.

Hes a little bitch who thinks hes being treated unfairly and is the victim.

He doesn't like being criticized or singled out ( thanks Babcock) and his entire tenure has read of someone who says what he thinks people will want to hear so he doesn't get picked on.

He's also charmin soft on and off the ice.
