OT: Vacations and Travel Thread

Ya. Had not realized it's been so long. Thanks for all this.

Booked for Joe Beef. It's not far from hotel and still 46th on that list.

Tried booking Mon Lapin but I'll probably check back to see if anyone cancels as it's fully booked.

Looks like lots of top places by there and will check out the mile End area as well.

Where should I go celebrate the Habs win?
(considering we are in our 40s now lol)
My wife & I have been going to La Prunelle (Plateau district) for a long time but place is still excellent - very small restaurant, BYOW, fly in fresh catch of the day.

To celebrate a Has win, depends why your better half is into? Pub? More of a bar atmosphere?

Pub: Hurley’s Irish pub. on crescent, but I personally prefer Terrasse St-Ambroise (outdoor terrace back of Mcauslan brewery)

Bar: bunch on Notre Dame close to Bell Centre: I like Bon Delire and Tuck shop

Le Violon (sadly made famous by Katy Perry/Justin) is great food in a nice warm room. I got in just before the hype.

One of my favourite under the radar places is this Syrian spot called Le Petit Alep (cheaper than its brother next door Alep)

Great middle Eastern food and a surprisingly killer wine list

As for bars, I don’t go to many in MTL, but when I do, I go to https://lemalnecessaire.com/en/
though they moved into a new location that I haven’t tried yet

Rose? :p

More bar than pub probably.

But I assume a pregame pint at hurley's Irish Pub would also be good.

That place looks interesting. The bar.

Oh. Another question where do I go to watch game 7 if needed?
