It sounds like Carle is really happy at the U of Denver, or he's making some outlandish demands ( salary or otherwise) cause i have to think Bedard and the Hawk job would be somewhat tempting for most.

It sucks, but until the playoffs are over there hasn't been any harm caused here. Hell, I would say that there is no reason to rush until after the draft, but that's just me.

No, but on the upswing with a superstar and one of the deepest prospect pools, clean cap sheet and willingness to spend.

2 of those names would be hard to say no too. Owen Power would be easy to say no to. Morrissey is probably equal value and I'd rather get someone younger if we're trading Willy.
