Was thinking maybe they were great playoffs guys or somethin but....nope.

At least Sissons and Duhaime have been good playoffs guys in tough roles. The other three.....yikes.

I mean Paul and sissons are both better c’s than kamof and Laff (who never was a real c). And laff zar and engvall aren’t nhlers.

Roslovic has a very bad rap as a playoff no show
 
Jeffrey viel got the same. Duhaime is solid. If they didn’t do sissons I think it’s tidy work 2.5m got most teams guys we’ve never heard of whereas the leafs added two quality bottom sizers.
 
Does nobody think the entire roster from last year would have performed head and shoulder better with someone who has a clue behind the bench? Someone who’d play to their strengths and create systems to amplify them? I mean, honestly, the new acquisitions could be just turnover and be equal to last years drek and have an analytics driven coach who can get way more out of them working with instead of against them.

so you're saying the complaints about last year's team being too slow and not playing with enough pace, were incorrect and they were actually super fast?
