1st Rnd '25 Playoffs: The Battle of Ontario V - More of the Same - LFG!

I have a signed Bunting jersey in my office at school with 58 on it and I was thinking of of flipping it over so the leafs crest is facing out BUT.....then I noticed something.

It's our time baby

I think this was done so that they can move Patches up to the Tavares line and then move Holmberg down to the Domi line for defence reasons.

Truth is we'll need all the bodies eventually inba long playoffs run and up 2-0 vs OTT is as good a time as any to get Max back in the lineup.

Early season fresh Max was really good. Hopefully we get that Max. And swapping him and robby in and out of the lineup might be the best way to maximize both of them tbh.

That makes sense.

Robby was very good in game 1. Not great in game 2 but still not awful - but he did take a bad penalty which let Ottawa back in the game.

Yeah it’s the penalty. Which has always been his problem. Bone head, unnecessary plays that cost the team and him his spot. But he’ll score 2 goals when he gets back in for game 4.

Would be nice if they took one in Ottawa and just took command of the series, rather than letting them back in it.

Leafs got their foot on the Sens neck. Keep pressing.

They typically never make things easy on themselves in the playoffs.

Lose game #1, so that they start the series behind the eight ball. Lose game two on the rare occasion they do win game one. Fail to take the stranglehold on a series when the opportunity is there. Fail to put away opponents when they’ve got them on the ropes. And then fail to win in winner-take-all games.

Through two games so far they’ve bucked some of those trends. Hopefully they do that again tonight and take a commanding 3-0 series lead instead of letting the Sens right back into the series.
