I'm doing my best to arrange to be able to be there.

Kudos to Orpik for manning up after being given a 3 game suspension for his hit on Maatta.

Orpik: I think (suspension) was fair. It was a bad hit. Nothing to argue. It was late. Pretty black & white. Have to live with it.

On the bad-news front for our Pittsburgh 1st rounder, Pittsburgh's up 2-0 on Washington near the end of the 1st.

On the good-news front---Kris Letang just lept off his feet and KO'd Marcus Johansson with a vicious elbow to the jaw.

Based on the precedent the NHL just set with Brooks Orpik---Letang could (should) potentially sit for the rest of this series.

Orpik got 3 games and his was definitely worse and not part of the play.

Johansson returned for the 2nd period... I don't think Letang will get three but I could see him getting a game or two.
