He can't count six players on the ice. That's not what Grapes has told me 1000 times my entire life.
Nope.
There's no conditions to attached to it, and only the order of the first round of the draft is affected by the playoffs.
i have not watched very much of the NHL playoffs but from what I have watched the refs have been brutal
missed calls
phantom calls
early whistles on what should be goals
even some basic icing calls are missed
do not know if it is always this bad or not
Tyler Johnson gets flat out interfered with breaking out of the zone on a 2-on-1. Pens come back and score. Ridiculous.
It's been pretty typical NHL officiating. Very inconsistent. Every game has phantom calls and blatant misses.. both ways.
has it always been this bad?
Your bias is showingI haven't found it worse than normal... but maybe I didn't catch a particularly bad game yet.
That missed call on Johnson there wasn't anything that bad. Sure it could have been called but that not getting called in OT is far from abnormal.
So you're saying that is always called? In the playoffs? In overtime?
I may be glad that it was missed but it doesn't change the fact that I literally said it could have been called and therefore acknowledged that it was a missed call. But there's no arguing that those plays go uncalled all the time... especially in the playoffs and especially in place OT.
