There are some good players that will drop to early round two

Yup.

Go out swinging with those two seconds.

[Habspatrol]

A lot of people saying he’s the best goal scorer in the draft. You agree?

Lord knows the Habs need a goal scorer.

Without a question the best goal scorer in the draft. Maybe in the past decade.

Obviously we don't know how it'll translate.

He's one of the best scorers in the last 10 drafts.

[legoalie]

Naslund was the same height. If he turns out anything like him i will be very happy

as long as he isn't another Corey Locke, star junior numbers but never made the NHL

[Sal_Butera]

Any chance Kaliyev drops into 2nd round - worth trading up for? Another pure sniper right?

[east coast]

Jacub Pelletier goes #26 to Calgary. He, Lavoie and Kaliyev are guys I wouldn't have minded us getting at this point if there were a way. The other two are still there.

Locke’s skating kept him from progressing, Caufield can skate..

That comparable is way off

[GGpX]

Huh. Tampa reaches for Nolan and now they have the two Foote brothers.

Locke had question marks way beyond his skating, he cruised on his talent, work ethic was weak and he was not the same type pf goal scorer.

[Rolex]

Caufield seems to play like Marner....maybe i'm off....but i see the same player.....skates very well, can create his own space with the puck, nice shot....

I don't touch him. He reeks for AKost. He has all the skills to be a truly elite player, but I don't think he has a toolbox.

Seems... kinda dumb.

maybe we can still get the other suzuki

[Rolex]

too bad we will have to wait until tomorrow to see what happens

[lecoqsportif]

Isn’t the other Suzuki really good?

He’s slippery like Marner

[wiseguy1]

i guess not

At this point in the draft, its worth the risk I think. Both him and Lavoie.
