Looking at November's schedule for the Hurricanes and it's freaking brutal in terms of logistics alone. Starts with a trip to Chicago followed by a long weekend in Florida. Back home for a back to back set with the Flyers and Blues, then the West Coast swing which now includes Vegas and Seattle. Flying home at that point? Nope ... flying to Philly for some stupid reason. Then home, but only for one game with the Caps before finishing off the month in Dallas.
Look, I'm not complaining about just my team, because several teams have had equally ridiculous stretches thus far. I know the schedule is compressed and all, but the way the league handled their parameters for the road vs home mix has been COMPLETELY different this season than in years past. And not for the better.
