Sean Gentile … one of my favorite of The Athletic’s hockey crew. It seems like he’s been assigned to the Canes beat for this round, which means he might stick with us throughout. That would be fun.
 
Yup. It’s gone.

Which raises the question … why only order like 5,000 of those things? Because if they sold 4,600 and change you KNOW they gave some to staff and vendors and whatnot. I get that the viral concession item requires scarcity, but that seems excessively stingy.
 
Those things also got caught up in the tariff mess all season coming from China so the order went in apparently in October and just arrived late in the first round and they were not even ready to be sold until Saturday…sounds like a bunch of NHL teams are already reaching out to the vendor for next season. My son wanted the Whalers Zamboni Saturday at the game but why in the hell didn’t I buy a beer skate or two as well…
