I like him as a person. Was always very friendly to us lowly locker room guys. Plus, he was smart enough to sell to Dundon

To be fair, when I first read it I thought he was talking about that culotte wearing Montreal fan Subban also. PK was on with McAfee this morning talking about both series.

Referring to Subban, My bad for not considering Karmanos. Karmanos had the wisdom, forethought, and took the risk in bringing the Hurricanes here. No gripe from me.
I'm 100% tired of Subban bashing the Hurricanes and never having a good word to share and taking every other team's side. I get that he's a former Canadien, but I just wish he'd have a nice tall glass of STFU. Not a fan.

I am NOT a PK fan, at all....but to be fair, I have seen him at least a dozen times on clips from McAfee
, TNT Studio show, etc....where he was very complimentary of the Hurricanes all while openly admitting he wanted the Habs to win. It's no secret. But, I have seen him say a ton of good things about the canes and their play....not just this year either.With that said, F*** PK

Why not. It's a great experience and he can sell 3 times as many tickets for 2-3 times the price. I have heard they were crunching the numbers on the cost vs revenue of putting an outdoor game on at the club level. Not sure if doing it annually would sap the energy out of selling tickets eventually....I mean is it popular because its a once in a while spectacle or would it be popular if they did it every year or even every other year?

Dundon probably has the extra cash laying around to make it work at the club level! Let him pick the opponent, think Rangers and all the NY transplants here for the secondary ticket sale purchasers! If you did it every 2-3 years it works, every year is pushing it.
The idea would be that the club would recoup the costs in increased ticket and TV revenue. They wouldn’t be talking about it if it was coming from the goodness of Dundon’s heart, I can assure you.
Some of the questions revolved around venues, with Carter Finley, Wallace Wade, Kenan and Durham Bulls Athletic Park on the list for feedback. Frequency was another thread of the questions, with options ranging from once a decade to once every 1-2 years. Sadly I down-voted DBAP even though it would have some of the best logistics. It’s just not a great configuration for viewing, I think. These things work better in football stadiums. Wallace Wade would be cool, but parking would be a nightmare. Kenan would be fine, but Carter Finley offers so much more opportunity to tailgate.

I work in Kenan very Saturday in the fall and the Smith Center through April - only issue with Kenan is parking, but they do a much better job than in years past with the new decks. They have done really well with attendance and traffic issues for the last few years with the Wrexham/Chelsea game and the Bananas this past month. It could be done.
I would be up for an every 3 or 5 years rotating between Carter Finley - Wallace Wade and Kenan. That would be pretty cool
Yeah, Kenan would fine. State fans dump on it, but it’s a decent gameday experience. The only problem being the amount of local knowledge required to figure out parking. Carter Finley is much more straightforward and even then the NHL screwed up parking to a level unmeasured by science. That would be my only concern with Chapel Hill … and Duke for that matter. Getting to and parking for a game there is a freaking nightmare. But any of them would be fine so long as you did some homework.

Yea, dook is worse than UNC....because it even sucks when they have a half empty stadium.
TO be fair, most state fans dump on anything that has a UNC next to it. They could build a dome bigger than Cowboys stadium, allow free admission and concessions and state fan would tell us how bad it sucks lol. Its the nature of State/Carolina

Dukes parking may be atrocious but that seating is much closer to the sidelines than many other stadiums.

I loved the Stadium Series experience.... once. Or at least once in a great while. They botched the traffic/ parking/ general logistics enough I can still taste it 
I'll probably give in and do it if they stage another, but I'm not lobbying for one anytime soon.
