I don't. The could have had Zegras last year and passed. You know it's gonna be Zegras
I recall reading at the deadline that he was not interested in signing with a Canadian team.
But it’s usually true.they say that about everyone.....
But it’s usually true.
I do admire that HuGo are willing to try even when things don’t work out the first time. MB would just shrug and say “trades are hard.”We just need one

I said “try,” not “succeed.”Let's wait until summer to see if they actually succeed, or if we'll get the Bergy excuses again
I said “try,” not “succeed.”
One off-season (2020). That’s it.Bergy also tried....
HuGo have actually made numerous deals, not just been active on the phones, trying to make deals. It’s not complicated, bro.Lots of GMs have said Bergy was one of the most active GMs on the phones, trying to make trades/deals.
Seems like Bergy was always trying....sure he didn't succeed much.....
Just trying to understand why you assume that HuGo are trying more than Bergy ? Do you have inside info ?
Dach was looking like that 2C before his knee injury last year.To me...everything is working out BECAUSE Bergy made that trade for Suzuki (even if Nick wasn't his first option, he still pulled off the trade, so he gets full credit for Suzuki).
HuGo are stuck with Anderson-Gally-Price contracts, which are Bergy mistakes....
But without Bergy, we still don't have a 1C....and 4 years into their regime, HuGo have proven they cannot find us a 1-2C
Let's hope this summer they succeed
Yet other teams can find them.....They don't come cheap.
