2026 Hurricanes Off Season Thread

Been doing the same going back and forth with my rep... the screen still says you are committing to pay the full ticket amount, just nothing "now". I told him they're seriously underestimating the confusion caused in how they implemented this voucher trade-in if this is how they intended it to work.

I spoke to my rep. For the vouchers, if you‘re on a payment plan, you won’t see the full value of the voucher when you check out. Click on the option to apply to your plan and it will show $0 due.
Thanks andyt

So, I went ahead and did that for a single game I needed 1 ticket for. I went to check my invoice and the ticket is added, with its price, but the cost of the ticket was not added to my running invoice due (which to me means that this worked).

All good....HOWEVER....it appears that doing that somehow switched my payment method on my Season Tix payment plan from the fee free ACH bank draft to the credit card that was selected on the exchange payment screen. The invoice screen had all the warnings about the 3% fee I would get added on because I was set to pay the installments by credit card. Not only that, my bank account wasn't even there anymore on the Invoice screen to switch back to. I had to re-enter my checking account and make it the payment method again.

Something to double check when you apply the voucher using the method adnyt's rep suggested. :-(

This whole process is ridiculous. Vouchers isn't some new concept, I never had problems when vouchers were a regular thing that came with season tickets. They are pretty much guaranteeing that a whole lot of vouchers will end up unused. That would have been the case anyway, but throw in this convoluted nightmare and you increase that non-usage percentage for sure.

It’s yet another self-inflicted wound

Thanks for all you hard working, big money spending STH'ers in here that are sharing your horror stories on the process with all of us, we get to live vicariously through you to enjoy the ride without the headaches!!! :)

Since us single game buying peasants are left to pick up the scraps and high dollar resale tickets...I took the initiative this year to reach out to a Group Ticket Sales Rep for home opener tickets...she said if we were willing to buy a minimum of 10 tickets for the opener as a group sale purchase she could secure us tickets before the public single game sale went live, so we went that route and found enough friends interested to take 10. Just did not want to miss being in the building for the banner raising!!!

Thinking outside the box.

After we had secured tickets to the game 6 watch party, we became aware that we could have gotten a box had we committed to a certain number of tickets, which we would have gotten anyway, we ended up with 18 tickets among 3 groups. That’s for next June though.

Parking passes have arrived on our accounts but at the moment you cannot do anything but transfer them.

Also added....one parking voucher which currently has no options to do anything with at all. This voucher actually shows up in your invoice listing with a value, so I'm hopeful that once they actually allow you to exchange it, it will behave like the vouchers used to and we won't have to call a rep for help.

“Season ticket holders MAY notice new seat numbers” … one would hope so, my dear headline writer. Otherwise they will be doomed to forever roam the lower bowl looking for seats that may not exist anymore.

I’m gonna guess that Game 1 will serve as a sort of cognition test for long time STHers who have new section numbers and seat numbers even though they haven’t actually moved.

One other thing I noticed when I was looking to exchange the vouchers…some of the mezzanine sections got a 2nd row added. In 324, there was room between row A and the wall. It looks like they added a row B in that space, the first row above the wall was row C. I wonder what the leg room in those seats will be.

Emotional for all involved.

That Robinson-Jankowski-Carrier line was special in the playoffs. We all knew our depth could cause any team problems, to have them make good on that potential as well as they did was a big reason we won the Cup.

You did good Guy Gaudreau, for your sons and their friends.

Jankowski had 1 goal but it was a doozy, the tying goal in Vegas game 2. Who knows what would have happened being down 2-0 at home?

They also got to close out game 6. I like to think that was their reward.

Eric Robinson brought the Cup to the rink where he first started playing, for they Hollydell Hurricanes, for Guy Gaudreau.
